    @heluecht @1br0wn @gavinanderegg A big feature over there that I think we need is real blocking too. Being able to follow people's lists and turn them into follow or block lists is really cool as well. Lastly, their whole "starter pack" idea is pretty neat to help people bootstrap too.

    @professorhank Whether Harris pulls out a win or not, yep. As Radley Balko pointed out on Bluesky, cribbing off JVL: "Harris ran a smart campaign. She was a solid candidate. Trump ran a disastrous campaign and is in clear decline. This was a clear choice. No matter who wins, half of voters either chose bigotry and authoritarianism, or had no problem with it. And that’s hard to take."

    @heluecht @alastair I always flashback to VH1's "Pop-up Video" from the 1990s where they'd give you little factoids about the artist, song, or music video while the video played. For younger folks, we used to have a channel that just played music videos called "MTV" but then they never played music videos so they made another one called VH1 that eventually also never played music videos.
