@rayhindle From the video (and looking into some of the specs I can find online) it seems like the "backup plane" B-32 was comparable capable with far less risk and cost. Is there documentation about why they didn't ramp up production of that bomber and ramp down production of the B-29? Sunk cost fallacy? -

I actually do have a large vocabulary for someone who says the f-word so often :) #humor -

@goatsarah @fne8w2ah I didn't realize they had that problem. I always liked how robust they were over the old USB connectors and omni-directional. My lightning cables generally failed in the cable somewhere over time from excessive bending etc. I was concerned the insert area of the USB-C would be overly fragile but that seems to not be an issue. I'm glad we can move to just one unifying connector now. I'm also glad MagSafe is coming back. I absolutely love that for the larger devices. -

@dburbach Glad you are here. Yours was one of the handful of accounts I would still look at frequently through Nitter. That is dead now so if it doesn’t get posted here I will never see it. Plus side is you can look at more than 600 posts a day here :) -

This is the first flavored Coke Zero product that I thought might taste good. I should have known they were going to go with the whole lemon scented furniture polish artificial flavoring levels. Blech! #food #CokeZero -

@heluecht Which of the the above options do you think would be best:
a. break links by change the elements to be IDs and URLs
b. new field "ids" just of IDs
c. new field "scales" (or something) which is an array of elements containing the ID and URL of each scale level?
d. Same as C but with more metadata perhaps? -

@heluecht Ah you mean picking size 0, 1, or 2 if we provide resource-id instead of ID? That would be solved by returning the IDs of the images when we query it from the Friendica side. It would then not require any special logic in the Mastodon API or even changes there. We just need to decide if we break the current Friendica API format by introducing it directly in the link array, produce a second field of IDs, or a second field of "scales" or something which itself is a collection of maps with IDs and links. -

@heluecht So you would prefer we return IDs for each of the images when queried from the friendica side which can then be used to seed the Mastodon endpoint? -

@aravosis After Dorsey did the whole tech bro Musk fluffed maneuver in public and private? For shame! Seriously though Musk is in the ETTTD mode from what I can see at this point.
