Is there a server + extensions that does this? Years ago, I used #Xmarks, but they were owned by the same company that owns #LastPass, so I'm not confident that my bookmarks would be private. (If I wanted public bookmarks, I'd use whomever bought #Del.icio.us.) -

First create a #PayPal account, it said. (They, of course, knowing that I closed my account after they took about $150 in three separate transactions with someone I paid one time three years earlier. PayPal's response was that it wasn't unauthorized, since I had paid them once before.) -

Even your enemies have the capacity to be right sometimes.
That doesn't make them your friend, or mean the other things they believe in are right. It also doesn't mean you have to reconcile.
It just means that they were right.

Look at #hg (mercurial), #bzr (bazaar), #fossil, #darcs, or #svn (subversion). I know svn has a gui tool available for Windows. Not sure what kind of gui tools the others may offer. -

Linux Walt (@lnxw48a1) (lnxw48a1@nu.federati.net)'s status on Sunday, 30-Apr-2017 21:11:45 CEST Linux Walt (@lnxw48a1) So I've seen a lot of the drama and probably missed a lot also. Yet I've seen a lot: Accusations. Presumptions of bad intent. Attempts to build a Maginot Line to keep "bad" instances out, where bad == does not have same political / social beliefs. Poorly-researched blocklists being distributed with implied "follow this or we'll block you" authoritarian pressure.
When these things happen, it is natural to want to strike back. But we all need to recognize that posting someone's personal information (no matter how easily-obtained) is the wrong tactic. Let's not validate the claims that GS and its admins are evil and abusive.
Personally, I am not desirous to find some deranged person breaking into my dwelling in the middle of the night. I'm not willing to promote (in any way) this happening to someone else, either. -
