    Ich habe mich im Rahmen unseres 80s80 Original-Podcast “The Story of Neue Deutsche Welle” mit ihm über das Lied unterhalten. Und da hat Joachim Witt erklärt, dass es um eine leichte Art des Burnouts gehe, quasi einer Vorstufe. Das lyrische Ich ist im Song wegen Schizophrenie auf dem Weg in eine psychiatrische Klinik. Wirklich alles andere als leichte Kost für die Hörer.
