MMN-o ✅⃠ (mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se)'s status on Saturday, 06-May-2017 16:21:21 CEST MMN-o ✅⃠ @taknamay I don't use !qvitter, I can only repeat. Should I still do it? -
MMN-o ✅⃠ (mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se)'s status on Saturday, 06-May-2017 00:07:05 CEST MMN-o ✅⃠ @cathal I (hundur) don't endorse proprietary disservices. Also becoming reliant on donations means people can start having unreasonable demands "or they won't continue support". Better not to involve economics at all.
Financial support can be given via !cryptocurrency or to others who deserve it (like @hannes2peer with the organisation En Kompis Kompis developing the !qvitter interface). -
Charles 🖳 Hutchins (celesteh@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 05-May-2017 16:01:46 CEST Charles 🖳 Hutchins Actually, in this post https://mastodon.xyz/users/0x5021/updates/146541 neither !qvitter or 'old' !gnusocial are loading the image on my instance. -
MMN-o ✅⃠ (mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se)'s status on Friday, 05-May-2017 12:30:35 CEST MMN-o ✅⃠ @hannes2peer 1. It only works in !qvitter and not the vanilla interface
2. thus it also won't work for third party API clients (at least not unless they do whatever qvitter does manually).
I can see a point in a point having "home timeline feed hides replies to people I don't follow" or something, which would determine which posts go on the home timeline feed. Some could call it "Twitter behaviour mode". -
MMN-o ✅⃠ (mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se)'s status on Friday, 05-May-2017 07:58:15 CEST MMN-o ✅⃠ @cathal @mxmehl I think you can do that in the !qvitter interface, right?
I have no issues with implementing this as an optional feature! There is no reason not to. And I'd merge if someone wrote the code (or it'll probably take a while before I find the time). -
Hannes (hannes2peer@quitter.se)'s status on Friday, 30-Dec-2016 13:40:19 CET Hannes sorry if you were logged out of quitter.se, but i had to do it to fix a security issue. !qvitter admins should update. -
mcscx2old (mcscx2old@status.vinilox.eu)'s status on Wednesday, 19-Oct-2016 20:40:13 CEST mcscx2old @stefan probably group administration is just not (yet?) implemented in !qvitter. -
