@davidrevoy Giant seamonster swallows the entire fleet. The siren bares her fangs into a grin and says "Thank you for you contributions."

@yngmar Oh oh, cruel and dark, but cool twist. Might be even more if I make the rock she is sitting on a prominent part of the head of the giant see monster, and make the siren high five a tentacle of the monster as the boat get crushed.

@davidrevoy If you prefer something darker, the fourth panel shows a girl sitting on the ground in a dirty corner of a dark street, trying to earn money by playing music. The first three panels were all products of her imagination. -

@Parnikkapore The idea of the child is cute. Don't worry: if you read the other ideas, I had many ideas of monsters where the mermaid is her tongue, or sitting on the tip of the monster's lantern (big fish lantern) or boats swirling in the abyss, etc...
Your idea with a kid make me think about another one: a kid with his fingers plugged on his ears. And near to him a father silhouette with a speechbubble asking the kid "Why are you not listening, Ulysses?"

@davidrevoy This is probably too dark for you (and definitely too dark for MFT), but:
a child (on one of the boats) saying "Are you going to eat us?"

@heluecht Hehe, true, it's dark and I like the ref to Andersen's tales; but I try to avoid the twist ofthe final "it was a dream". I think this type of endings are working only for Alice in Wonderland. 😆
