     @hypolite Why shouldn't women have this fetish? Anyway, I only know one person with a foot fetish. A long time ago, I was the administrator for our company's Internet access. As we had a volume account, we used a proxy and I checked my colleagues' usage. One of them was visiting such sites. That is how I found out about the fetish.

     @heluecht Here's the kicker though, was your colleague a man or a woman?

     To answer your initial question, it seems to me that individual fetish spread is affected by the gender identity which depends on society's idea of gender as well.
