    @feb Das bleibt zu hoffen - ich hab eher die Sorge, dass (trotz PBLLC) der Druck der Geldgeber irgendwann zu groß wird, und dass das schneller passiert, als man den technischen Rahmen schaffen kann, den es braucht, damit das geschützter gegen solche Entwicklungen ist.

    @jakob Das ging allerdings bei Twitter/X auch schon mal recht gut, bis die die API weitestgehend dicht gemacht haben... . Sowas kann potentiell auch hier immer drohen, so lang es nicht deutlich mehr als eine Instanz und eine relevante Zahl an Nutzern auf diesen anderen Instanzen gibt.

    @feb Bleibt abzuwarten, ob das Protokoll und die Community offen genug werden wird, um zu vermeiden, dass es letztlich wieder in ein Netzwerk im Twitter-Style entgleitet. Die Versprechen sind ja noch relativ groß, aber so lang das Ding nicht wirklich dezentral funktioniert, ist's eher schwierig... .

    @feb Ohja. Interessant. (Wobei die Denke wieder in altbekannte Richtung zu gehen scheint - Aufbauen der Plattform mit extern eingesammeltem Geld kann eine gute Idee sein, muss aber nicht.)

    @heluecht Das scheint mir aber auch in jeder Hinsicht eine ausnehmend dämliche Idee zu sein, zumindest als Vorgabe, die sich wohl nicht abschalten lässt. Insofern ist der Gegenwind wohl berechtigt (und es wird interessant sein zu beobachten, wie man damit umgeht...)

    @muldenkind Nööö. Ich bleib definitiv hier. (Hab aber auch "drüben" einen Account, weil einige liebe Kontakte von Tw_____ entweder direkt oder über Umwege über Mastodon dorthin gekommen sind. Und hoffe auf die nächste Friendica-Version, das etwas weiter zu integrieren... ). Aber diese Sortierungs-Debatte wird sicher lustig drüben.🙈

    No question this time but rather kudos to the #Friendica devs for all that has been built into 2022-12. At least from a mobile-use perspective (where unfortunately the best options still are Mastodon API clients), this release is awesome. Thanks all! 🙂️

    (And, of course, same to @one and all admins keeping instances running and up to date mostly 24x7 in their spare time..... greatly appreciated!)

    Using Friendica with @Tusky or @apps , I notice that timelines pulling posts off "lists" (contacts groups) or hashtags works but is very much slower than in Mastodon. Is this an instance-specific issue, or are these API requests generally a tad slower in Friendica at the moment...?
