    Over the past couple years I've used our plastic kitchen bowls a couple dozen times to sort #LEGO bins, so much so that yesterday my kid was surprised I served chips in the "LEGO bowls".

    @heluecht Welp! I remember aggressive taxi drivers in Paris but so far my experience in New York has been tamer. There's the odd red light running, but nothing more concerning. I should also say that I use my bike way less than you do.

    @heluecht @mbonsma Oof, sorry about that. Do you have a electric bike by any chance? When I'm riding in Brooklyn, there aren't any bike lanes materialized on the sidewalk, so the only thing I have to care about is cars.

    Yesterday I got yelled at by a turning driver stopped at the crossing walk I was using while the pedestrian signal was green because I was texting as I was walking at a pretty good pace.

    Nothing would have changed for them if I didn't have my phone or even if I wasn’t there as other people were crossing too.

    What an asshole.

    For several months now I've been the only one left working on a project at work and for several months deployments issues on this project have increased. Coincidence? I think not. Since I'm the only one left programming, there hasn't been any meaningful code review for a few months either. It's not enough to have another pair of eyeballs looking at your code if they aren't familiar with it.

    Still feels bad to have end users bear the brunt of this though.
