    @nee I thought mariadb and most versions of mysql were pretty compatible. Maybe I'm wrong? Trying best 2 use !GNUSocial instead of mastodon.

    LEMP = linux server with nginx mysql, php (7)...on ubuntu 16.04...I used to have !GNUSocial on older php...but now cant. Weird.

    Tried !GNUSocial on lemp w/php 7. Shows deprec. msgs->strts install->check db->create db tables->"Database error: DB Error: unknown error"?
