    @stigatle Yesterday was superwarm over here in #Umeå. So far I've had to have two layers of clothes to avoid freezing when !cycling to work but yesterday I broke a sweat almost as soon as I left my apartment!

    @aral @guizzy @Gargron on the other hand, expanding the scope too much will lead to feature creep and software that stops being usable in any particular use-case. Look at RetroShare for an example.

    It's a trade-off, and not an easy decision.

    Huh, shouldn't PuSH hubs always answer 202 Accepted?

    (only PuSH v.0.3 used 'sync' mode which required all roundtrips to happen directly, vs.when the server has time for it)

    @cathal I (hundur) don't endorse proprietary disservices. Also becoming reliant on donations means people can start having unreasonable demands "or they won't continue support". Better not to involve economics at all.

    Financial support can be given via !cryptocurrency or to others who deserve it (like @hannes2peer with the organisation En Kompis Kompis developing the !qvitter interface).

    @hannes2peer 1. It only works in !qvitter and not the vanilla interface
    2. thus it also won't work for third party API clients (at least not unless they do whatever qvitter does manually).

    I can see a point in a point having "home timeline feed hides replies to people I don't follow" or something, which would determine which posts go on the home timeline feed. Some could call it "Twitter behaviour mode".
