It takes privilege to worry about pro-union sentiment when you are worried about becoming homeless.

@darnell Yeah, honestly, I think its a complicated issue and I feel bad for the hard workers that deliver the mail and wish our gov't would meet their demands so we can get back to normal.
I meant that originally, I just should have clarified a bit, since I haven't been paid all month and was so worried about my finances.

@dansup That is understandable! I remember when America πΊπΈ had the port strike on the East Coast, which coincided with Hurricane Helene and pre-Christmas sales for many businesses.
Many people were upset, especially when @potus declined to get involved.
Billions of dollars were being lost daily, but in the end, the port workers postponed their strike to January (probably to avoid enraging half of the population) as it affected the economy.

It sucks that people think I'm some hyper capitalist anti-union monster, I am just someone who gets paid via mail. I empathize with the affected people and hope it gets resolved soon!
