      @samhenrigold But how did it sound through headphones? The speaker is still not really an adequate way to listen to music on a phone, even if they made it better.

      @Gargron The first gen has a recessed headphone jack, my only 3.5mm cable doesn’t fit! Apparently they did this because Jobs thought the headphone jack was ugly. I just ordered an adapter on ebay, I’m curious how the DAC is

      @Gargron Though I am curious how many producers are considering how their mix sounds on phone speakers since it’s increasingly a common way people consume music. Via videos on social media and whatnot
