     @macsnider Und grad dachte ich, dass ich meinem Papa endlich einen Laptop von Apple andrehen kann… aber unter 1000€ sollte er dann schon kosten.

     Wo sucht man sowas gebraucht?

     @rjayasinghe Doch. Für meinen Papa. iPad und iPhone hat er schon (endlich!), und nun steht ein neuer Arbeitsrechner (Office halt…) an. Und Office auf dem iPad werde ich ihm nicht klarmachen können. Einzige Alternative zu macOS ist Windows. Ist das besser?

     @rjayasinghe In other news: habe die Tage meinen zukünftigen Arbeitsrechner bestellt. Da läuft dann kein macOS mehr drauf. :D :D

     @rjayasinghe Welches Linux hast du laufen? Ich will vor allem Sway haben (i3wm für Wayland). Alles andere ist mir egal. Und da sieht's gerade nach Arch oder nix aus.

     @rjayasinghe i3 ist für mich Grund Nr. 1, den Mac-Scheiß endlich wieder loszuwerden. Kann auch gerne noch ein paar Jahre auf Sway verzichten. i3 ist was ich will. Bin nur raus aus dem aktuellen Linux-Kram. Und mein kompetenter Kollege meint, Wayland wäre die Zukunft. Deswegen.

     @rjayasinghe Habe mir das X390 bestellt. Das hat "nur" FHD, d.h. du hast vollkommen recht: i3 und Xorg wird noch länger funktionieren. Also mache ich mir erstmal keine Gedanken um Wayland und Sway. :D
