   I had a discussion about climate change and climate footprint of transport, and it was very exhausting to meet all those arguments all over again how people are supposedly depending on their car, how people have to fly because they can't afford the trains, etc.

   even though I said repeatedly that there has to be system changes so that people have alternatives, and we have to stand up for that..

     but what we all can do, even when we depend on a car, for example:
     - we can stop being in denial. we can help raise awareness that we have a problem.
     - we can drive more slowly to cause fewer emissions and we can keep cyclists and pedestrians safe so they can continue to walk and cycle.
     - we can choose a small car.
     - we can try carsharing and using a car together with others.
     - we can demand alternatives that are more climate friendly
