      @nickfarr I've heard that explanation about why Fahrenheit is so much more useful than Celsius. And I get the intention, but it still only makes sense when you grew up using Fahrenheit.

      My intuitive interpretations of Fahrenheits (mostly when listening to Red Sox games on WEEI):

      90s: you better stay inside. it's HOT!
      80s: yes, that's nice!
      50s: brrr. cool.
      30s: wait!? that's really cold, is it?

      <0F: negative degrees don't make any sense in Fahrenheit
      >100F: water is boiling.
