   And the way she said it... is a terrifying lay justification of surveillance and authoritarianism. This is how you convince the population to give up their privacy.. through fear.. I'm not buying what she's selling.

     @rhiaro Here’s the response to this argument that I use:

     You have two kidneys. You only need one to live. Yet no one can force you to give up the other – even if it could be used to save someone else’s life – because that would be an infraction into your person and an abuse of your human rights. The same goes for your data; which is part of who you are.
