   @janw I had searched for #python and #django offerings, too. Then by accident, I applied for a RoR position, got the job and only later discovered what you just described.

   btw: I'm very happy with my decision. Rails is fun, Ruby is fine, but, more importantly, my work place environment is very good.

     @janw Yes. It's not a path for everyone. I had the "fortune" of having relatively little experience anyways. So there wasn't too much Python specific knowledge I lost when moving to Ruby. (But there isn't that big of a difference anyways.)

     What I miss the most is pytest. Oh sweet, sweet pytest!
