    Over the previous 5 years, 43 people have been convicted for begging.
    34 conditional sentences and 9 sentences where most got unconditional prison sentences between 2012 and 2016. Suring the same period, nine beggars were fined.
    One conditional sentence and one fine so far in 2017.

    Literally back to the 1800's pre-social security net policy of imprisonment for trying to survive poverty.
    Recently, the minimum sentence for begging in Denmark was raised to two weeks unconditional prison, if the begging "creates insecurity" (a definition as if it was written for arbitrary enforcement).
    The State punishing people for failing its most basic self-assumed task.
