    Who decided to have no ifconfig on the Debian 9 livecd? (the graphical setup works, but why is it necessary to remove the commandline tool?)

      I’ll check that — if yes, that would counter my complaints (and I would have been unfair towards Debian devs). I just wish they had plain text init scripts where I could have found the command (I searched).
