@dadegroot particularly daft as I fell into a trap: the menu said "configure your gin & tonic". First came a very large (30--35) selections of gin, but tapping on one didn't get me further. After 3 or 4 attempts I gave up to later hear from the waitress that it doesn't work that way.

At an Indonesian restaurant in Holland we experienced tablets for ordering; that was a very nice experience actually, but it was more of a diner-type place in which the electronic menu didn't hurt; au contraire.
