    Mein Handyvertrag läuft aus und Vodafone bietet jetzt auch ein Fairphone als Handy an.
    Wie ihr wisst, knallen die da ja einen Haufen Bloatware drauf und darauf habe ich überhaupt keinen Bock.

    Also, meine Frage an euch:

    Hat Vodafone den Bootloader gesperrt beim Fairphone aus ihrem Shop?

    Kann ich das Betriebssystem wechseln auf einem Fairphone und was sauberes Installieren?

    Gibt es hier Leute, die tagtäglich mit einem #Android #Tablett arbeiten? Ich überlege statt Notebook auf ein Tablett umzusteigen.

    Vielleicht gibt es auch gute Linux Tablett? Einen großen Nachteil den ich sehe ist die schlecht Einbindung von Nextcloud.

    Die Idee ist, dass ich folgendes damit machen kann.
    * Video- und Musikstreams (NewPipe, Netflix, Nextcloud, Web und andere)
    * SSH
    * Dokumente bearbeiten (ggf. reicht da Nextcloud Office im Browser)
    * E-Books/ePub/PDFs lesen
    * Mastodon/Friendica/Pleroma
    * k-9/Lotus Note/Outlook Mail
    * Signal/Matrix/Jabber/XMPP/Threema/Wordpress
    * Nextcloud
    * Onlinebanking
    * Firefox/Internet surfen

    Ihr sehr, im Grunde als daily driver.

    Was davon geht eurer Erfahrung nach nicht mit dem Tablet?

    I must be a block head but for the life of me I can't figure this out. I have a Pixel 4 phone I use for development testing. It's still on Google Fi. I bought it directly from Google. It's been off for several months. I'm trying to get the latest OS update and it says that the latest version of Android is 13 not 14. That's fine. *But* it says the version I have installed, from over a year ago, is the latest version of Android 13. Am I missing something? Forcing it to go out for the update refresh is returning that I have the latest version. Did Google Drop support for a 4 year old phone getting security updates? #Android #Google

    Ich stehe kurz davor #SailfishOS aufzugeben und wieder auf #Android umzusteigen.

    Ich liebe Sailfish und würde es wahnsinnig vermissen, aber die Schmerzen irgendwie offiziell unterstützte Devices auszubuddeln (ich brauch die Android Unterstützung für Threema) werden langsam zu groß.

    Gibt es Ethernet+PoE-Adapter für Micro-USB?

    Wir haben stationäre Samsung-Tablets, die gleichzeitig geladen werden müssen und Internet brauchen. Die WiFi-Verbindung an einem Standort ist sehr schlecht und am liebsten würden wir Strom UND Netz über den Micro-USB-Port schicken.

    Geht das überhaupt? Ich finde keine Adapter dazu.

    Da habe ich vielleicht Glück gehabt. Android 4.1 auf Xperia T läuft ohne Google (gerootet), Xperia 3c mit Android 6.1 scheint nicht betroffen zu sein.
